Our World
Explore the world behind the adventures.
Every Buddy & Malley adventure introduces new places, vehicles, equipment, and a few familiar things they never want too far away.
Take a closer look at the objects and locations that have become part of their world.
Lunar Expedition
Built to Go Beyond Earth
Getting two Australian Shepherds to the Moon takes a little more than enthusiasm and a good plan.
From the spacecraft that carried them there to the equipment that kept them safe along the way, these are some of the vehicles, structures, and technology behind Buddy and Malley's Lunar Expedition.
Space Exploration Agency
Lunar Expedition
The starting point for Buddy and Malley's journey to the Moon.
The Space Exploration Agency's Lunar Mission Complex is home to the launch facilities, mission operations, and technology needed to send Buddy and Malley beyond Earth.
Rocket
Lunar Expedition
Buddy and Malley's ride to space.
Built for their Lunar Expedition, the rocket carried them from the launch pad and began their journey toward the Moon.
LEM
Lunar Expedition
Their spacecraft for exploring the Moon.
The Lunar Excursion Module gave Buddy and Malley a way to travel to and operate on the lunar surface during their mission.
Rocket Cradle
Lunar Expedition
Even astronauts need a good seat.
Buddy and Malley's specially designed rocket cradle keeps them secure and comfortable while traveling aboard the spacecraft.
Spacesuit
Lunar Expedition
Designed for adventures where ordinary fur isn't quite enough.
Buddy and Malley's spacesuits provide the protection they need while working and exploring beyond Earth.
Space Helmet
Lunar Expedition
An essential part of their spacesuits and one of the most recognizable pieces of their Lunar Expedition equipment.
Transport Ring
Lunar Expedition
A specialized piece of mission equipment used to safely transport moon samples collected during the mission.
Comforts of Home
Because Not Every Adventure Happens in Space
For all the rockets, spacecraft, and trips to the Moon, some of the most important parts of Buddy and Malley's world are much simpler.
These are some of the familiar things waiting for them back home.
Buddy's Red Ball
Comforts of Home
Buddy's favorite kind of mission requires no rocket at all.
Give Buddy a red ball and enough room to chase it, and he'll happily create an adventure of his own.
Bed
Comforts of Home
After traveling all the way to the Moon, there's still nothing quite like having your own place to curl up and sleep.
Fountain
Comforts of Home
A familiar part of Buddy and Malley's everyday world — and a reminder that their lives aren't always about spacecraft and Moon missions.
Their World Keeps Growing
Every adventure adds something new to Buddy and Malley's world.
Some things can take them all the way to the Moon. Others are simply waiting for them when they get home.
As their adventures continue, you'll be able to explore more of their world right here.
Adventures are better together.
